Your work is amazing Lidi. Wondering if you could take a pic of a gum nut - before being processed as I believe a lot of your followers would not really know what they look like. I am always gathering them and carrying them around in my pocket when I visit Qld. I always think of the children's book - the Gumnut Babies - as I pick them up, and of course I am always beware of the banksia.
Ooooh yes! I love the textures on this one.

All the best.

I have just discovered your blog. I really like what you do with those gumnuts. Really inspirational!
ReplyDeleteThe gumnuts add a beautiful, natural texture to your baskets Lidi and remind me of really ancient baskets. And it's fun to try something new!
