Well, it's finally on it's base and work has started on the cobbling.......still more to be done as can be seen!
This wall took me a few days solid work to complete but I'm happy with the results.
Another view - and you can see the area that still needs cobbling, plus the door to be inserted.
Back view - ground floor market, first floor guild hall, top floor library/office....
floor still to be stained as are the stairs.
View of market area showing "goal"
Other view of market area.
It was hard getting a shot of the fireplace!
It is looking really great, Tudor buildings always have so much character.
ReplyDeleteThis is looking superb! I'm going to be off-line for a few days at least but soon as I can I'll be back for a closer inspection.
ReplyDeleteHello Lidi, that beauty is getting! The pictures are also good. Kiss on the heart.
ReplyDeleteStunning!
ReplyDeleteCan't get enough of the pictures! How much work and how wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLove the details~
ReplyDeleteYou have done such a fantastic job creating those brick walls. Each course looks perfectly spaced with just the right amount of grout between them. I love how you have colored the brick in patterns in some places.
ReplyDeleteHalf timber buildings with brick is such a wonderful texture. I recently saw a photo of a 1920's Tudor revival house in NY with the most beautiful stone between the timbers.
I love the arch you added over the fire place. I look forward to seeing the next post.
Simply: Great :) !!!!
