We have had the wettest summer in 50 years but can count ourselves very lucky. We didn't suffer the severe flooding of Grafton or Kempsey but there was lots of water around Nambucca.

Oh Lidi, what a disaster! Thank God you are safe!
ReplyDeleteTake care.
Here in The Netherlands the winter has come back with snow and ice, it is extreme and never happens in this month, perhaps global warming?? Who knows!
Hugs, Ilona
I wish we could have had just a little bit of the rain you've had up north. So hot and dry down here, even in Ballarat which unfairly has a reputation of being a cold place to live!!!

I'm so sorry to hear these bad news!
ReplyDeleteWe can all be thankful this bout of wet summer is nothing like as bad as the one in the very early 1950's, the White Albatross caravan park was 15ft under water then.
