Back from New Zealand...........

.........and it's so good to be home again!  Had an absolutely fabulous time over there - the workshop was great fun and it was good to catch up with the master (Rik Pierce).

I took so many photos - so I have set up some of them in an album on  Flickr - the link to which is

I hope you go and take a look at them.  I did a huge cull so I wouldn't bore you all to death!!

I did manage to make some baskets while I was away so all in all it was a successful trip.

    Fantastic photos Lidi! What truly stunning landscapes!

    You must have had a fabulous trip. A great workshop to take from Rik. I have taken a two day class from him once when he was in the Netherlands some years ago and I learned so much from him!

    There were a lot of you in the class! Rik must have had so much preparation to do before even starting out on his trip to New Zealand. It always amazes me how much energy he has.

      Hi Sandra - Alas I will not be at the Sydney show this year. I leave for Kensington Dollhouse Festival on 7 May and it was all going to be too rushed. Hope you have a wonderful time at the show - I'm so sad I'm going to miss all the fun - but there's always next year! Mini hugs - Lidi
