Anyway, at last I have finished my batch of picnic baskets - 15 in all. I'm so glad they're out of the way. By the time they were finished, I didn't want to see another picnic basket again - for a while anyway!! This is the result of weeks of work.................................
Showing handle details!
And now I'm going back to work.
They are cute and very useful, i believe. What is the measurement on this.

Nice photos, they almost look like some sort of mollusc in the last one, I love them, they seem to all have their own character too. In the first shot they appear to be chatting, perhaps they have a secret life of their own.D
ReplyDeleteThese are incredible! Beautiful work. 15 wowww---

They are just beautiful Lidi! Seeing them grouped together like that really adds impact. What a lot of work!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you got that email thing sorted. Those cheeky B's ( I would like to say worse things) are so cunning, I can't believe they got to you.I guess we are all vulnerable some how.

Sharon - profuse apologies! I can't retrieve my contacts list from my old email account and I'm totally computer illiterate!! Your parcel arrived and I am in awe!! New email is basketcaseminis@yahoo.com.au
DeleteThank you ad infinitum!! Cheers - Lidi
You've certainly been busy Lidi. They are beautiful as always. I'm hoping to visit you again in May, and I'm hoping you'll have some half scale items again (she says ducking and running) since I've started on my half scale Fairfield now :) Thanks for explaining about the email, I was wondering! Hugs, Sandie snippetsofmyhalfscalefairfieldjourney.blogspot.com.au
ReplyDeleteHi Sandra - Oh what a bummer! I won't be here in May Sandra - off to the UK on 7/5 and won't even be at the Sydney show - which is also a big bummer! No matter - there's always next year. Now if you want some 1:24th stuff - please let me know what sort of thing you'd like and I will make an attempt at it for you!!!
DeleteHope all is well with you and your family. Take care of you. Hugs - Lidi
I just found your blog, and I'm in love with your baskets...I think even the real sized ones are not so perfect as your scale baskets:)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your kind comment! And welcome to my blog.
