The V-Dub Spectacular came to town........

..........and on Saturday morning, Nambucca's main street was crammed full of Volkswagens of every shape, size and colour (rumoured to be 400 in number)!

They ranged from the beautifully restored........




to the restorer's dreams........




to the downright characterful..............



The main street was jam packed with cars and people - and oh what a beautiful day we had for the event!
This is winter for us!!

    Did you manage to restrain Pete from buying one Lidi? ;))

      Peter already has a 1929 Chevy C Cab truck sitting in the shed awaiting the restorer's dream! He doesn't need another anything!!
      And yes, it "looks" like winter is all but over - but don't get roped in - it could still turn nasty over the next 3 weeks!! hahahahaha

    Lovely those old cars......in winter, you wrote?? Yes, I know in Australia it is winter, but over here it is summer and the weather even doesn't look as your winter :(!!!! Enjoy the weather in your winter, Lidi :D!!

      Ilona - that's why I choose to live here!! I hate the cold weather and the northern hemisphere has too much of that for my liking!!
