Now I have to start making the pavement to fit along the front and hopefully by next meeting we can line them up again with the footpath. Slowly coming together now!
This is the bread rack that will live on the back wall of my shop. I love how it turned out!!
And I have put some of the bread made so far on the rack - to give an idea of what it will look like! Lots more bread to be made though!!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!
Thank you for posting the progress on the street. It looks great! That bread rack is perfect! you cannot tell that is not a full size piece. The bread is so well made. Now I am hungry for a French bagguette!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! It's exciting to watch it come together---
ReplyDeleteHi Lidi! I love the charm of the street of shops and also like that yours is tall where the others are wide so it gives a pleasing undulation to the rooftops which is sooo french!:D Also LOVE the breads and the Bread rack! Your sculpting skills are truly phenomenal..... QUALITY Work, both outside and In! :D

I love the idea of a street of shops. It is especially enchanting that the buildings are made by different people. Once they are all completed what happens to the whole street. I missed the beginning somehow.
ReplyDeletethe club will put this together for display at the Sydney Miniatures Fair. after that, each building will go home with their respective owners!!!
DeleteUntil someone decides to display again!!
Sounds like a whole lot of fun to me!
ReplyDeleteThey look gorgeous all lined up in a row! Has me dreaming of a real artisinal boulangerie.....
ReplyDeleteThe bread rack is beautiful! And the bread looks so delicious!
ReplyDeleteThe street will be gorgeous when everything is finished!
Hugs
Kikka
Lidi your boulangerie will be really attractive with all that mouth-watering bread on display. And the display rack you have made is (as usual with all your wonderful work) very realistic. I look forward to seeing this street display at the Sydney Fair this May :)

ReplyDeleteI'm catching up on blog pictures, hasven't been on for age!! I hope you post the finished street so we can all see, especially as I'm missing the Sydney Miniature Show this year, with detailed photos - pleeeeease - after the Show and before London! Love what I see so far. Will be checking back.
