I finally got the picket fence together, painted and installed - and Peter hinged the little gate for me! Also started on the landscaping - so I'm including a couple of show and tell pics!!
I use gap filler which I apply to my base and then apply a scenic product called decorative lawn made by Heki (a German company who make scenic products for model railways). I then sprinkle dyed sawdust in different colours so I don't get a "perfect" green lawn! Hope that all makes sense!! Cheers - Lidi

Hi Lidi! I love the way the landscaping is looking and the grass is Very Very Good! I love the idea of dyed sawdust; Brilliant and probably really cost effective, as well as looking like the real thing. The fence is perfect looking for the yard and the finished base is beautiful, Lidi. Lovin it all!
I love the crooked picket fence! Oh my, so much character.
ReplyDeleteMy compliments on you progress; it looks so real and a bit worn by the years....very pretty!

Very nice! May I ask what you are using for grass?
